Music Box has announced their latest batch of film music releases - Philippe Sarde's score to the 1997 TV version of Stendahl's classic novel LE ROUGE ET LE NOIR ( The Red and the Black) a disc pairing two early scores by Gabriel Yared, LA SCARLATINE and TIR A VUE Eric Demarsan's score for the new miniseries NOTRE-DAME, about the aftermath of the 2019 Notre Dame cathedral fire and the new adventure comedy JACK MIMOUN ET LES SECRETS DEL VAL VERDE, scored by Mathieu Lamboley. La-La Land's set of October releases, available this week, are a two-disc 20th anniversary edition of Hans Zimmer's score for the 2002 horror hit THE RING, the Gore Verbinski-directed remake of the J-horror classic (previously, only a portion of Zimmer's Ring score was commercially available, on the soundrack to The Ring Two) and Costas Dafnis' score for the 2018 indie drama OVERWHELM THE SKY. The latest limited releases from the Varese Sarabande CD Club are both expanded Deluxe Editions of two scores by Alan Silvestri previously released by the label - Robert Zemeckis' 1992 dark comedy DEATH BECOMES HER, and the video game movie sequel LARA CROFT TOMB RAIDER: THE CRADLE OF LIFE.
